BraceLife Privacy Policy

BraceLife ("we", "our", "us") is an all-in-one Android utility application developed by BraceCoder. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information when you use BraceLife, which includes the following modules:

• Social Tools (WhatsApp status saver, sticker maker, fake call/chat, social downloader)
• QR Code (scanner, generator, batch QR, history)
• Converters (length, mass, temperature, currency, age, BMI, and more)
• AI Models (on-device language and image models via MediaPipe)
• File Tools (archive manager, duplicate finder, hash checker, batch rename)
• System & Network (WiFi analyzer, device info, app usage, network speed test)
• Text Tools (case converter, hash generator, markdown preview, CSV viewer, and more)
• Math Tools (scientific calculator, statistics, matrix, fraction)
• PDF Tools (merge, split, compress, watermark, convert, and more)
• Financial Calculators (GST, EMI, investment, tax, mortgage, retirement, budget)
• Media Tools (image converter, collage maker, background remover, EXIF viewer)
• Smart Planner (tasks, goals, projects)

BraceLife requests only the permissions required by specific features. Below is a full explanation of each permission used and the feature that needs it.

BraceLife integrates the following third-party SDKs and services. Each has its own privacy policy which governs the data it collects.

BraceLife displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. Ads help keep the app free for everyone.

You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time:

• On your Android device, go to Settings → Privacy → Ads and enable "Opt out of Ads Personalization" (or "Delete advertising ID" on Android 12+).
• Visit adssettings.google.com to manage your Google ad preferences.

Ads are displayed on most tool screens and the home screen. Ads load only when your device has an active internet connection.

BraceLife offers an optional account system. Account creation is not required to use the app.

You can delete your account at any time by contacting us at the email below. Upon deletion, all account data stored on our servers is permanently removed.

Certain premium features (such as WhatsApp sticker pack downloads) require purchasing credits via Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway.

• BraceLife never stores, processes, or has access to your card number, CVV, bank account details, or UPI PIN.
• All payment data is entered directly into the Razorpay secure checkout and is handled entirely by Razorpay.
• BraceLife only receives a payment confirmation (order ID and payment ID) to verify a successful transaction.
• Razorpay may collect device identifiers and phone state information for fraud detection. See their privacy policy for details.

BraceLife's AI Models module runs large language models (Gemma 3 1B, Phi-2) and image models (MobileNetV3, EfficientNet-Lite4) entirely on your device using Google MediaPipe / LiteRT.

• AI model files are downloaded from Hugging Face (a public model repository) and stored in your device's private app storage (filesDir/ai_models/).
• Model download progress and which models are installed are tracked in local SharedPreferences — never on a remote server.
• Hybrid Chat knowledge base entries (from AI Trainer) are stored in a local Room database.

BraceLife does not sell your personal data to any third party. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:

• Service providers: Google AdMob receives advertising signals as described in the Advertising section. Razorpay receives payment information when you make a purchase.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or a valid court order.
• Your explicit action: When you use the Share button in any tool, you choose what to share and with which app. BraceLife does not initiate sharing on your behalf.

We take reasonable technical measures to protect your information:

• All communication with our servers (authentication, credit verification) uses HTTPS / TLS encryption.
• Payment keys and AdMob App IDs are never hardcoded — they are injected at build time from a secure build configuration and are not present in public source code.
• The payment screen activates Android's FLAG_SECURE flag, preventing screenshots or screen recordings of sensitive payment UI.
• Local databases use Android's scoped storage — they are private to the app and inaccessible to other apps without root access.
• Authentication uses time-limited one-time passcodes (OTP) — no password is ever stored.

While we implement these safeguards, no system is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted over the internet.

BraceLife is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information (e.g. registered an account), please contact us immediately at the email address below. We will promptly delete any such information from our servers.

Google AdMob is configured to serve non-personalized ads in compliance with COPPA if a child user is detected.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the app's features evolve or legal requirements change. When we make significant changes, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this page.
